Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Al Muhajirin Mosque in Pringsewu Selatan in fostering Islamic community development through the Qur’anic Learning Center (TPQ) activities. The main issues identified include low student attendance rates, a limited number of teachers, and inadequate learning facilities. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, using interviews with mosque administrators, teachers, RISMA youth representatives, as well as observations and documentation. The findings reveal that TPQ plays a crucial role in instilling Islamic values among children and strengthening their attachment to the mosque. Support from mosque administrators, congregants, and RISMA members is a key factor in sustaining TPQ activities, despite limited resources. The study recommends teacher capacity-building programs, provision of adequate learning materials, and creative teaching methods to enhance children’s learning motivation and ensure TPQ functions as a sustainable community empowerment center.
